NORTH Somerset Council is calling on people to suggest sites which could be used for housing developments.

The authority is working with Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils to find land which could be used for developments.

They are also working together to see how new homes could be distributed.

The suggestions will provide the evidence to show how much development land there is in the area up until 2036.

North Somerset Council is under pressure to build more homes after its Core Strategy was reviewed by a Government planning inspector.

The council was told it needs to build 25,000 homes in the district up to 2026, while leaders had originally planned for 17,130.

Proposed sites should be submitted by March 6 by emailing
