Eleven people have been arrested over suspected involvement in county lines drug dealing in Weston-super-Mare.
It follows a day of action in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police on Monday where homes in Weston and Ilford were searched.
The operation was assisted by the National County Lines Coordination Centre and officers found a Taser, mobile phones and cash at a house in Weston.
Eleven people in total were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Four were later charged and were due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this morning (Wednesday) including Sukhbir Sandhu, age 46, of Clifton Road, who was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The Mercury reported yesterday (Tuesday) four Weston men were jailed for trying to sell cannabis in the town.
