A COUPLE celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with more than 100 friends and family.

Raymond, aged 88, and Menna Davies, aged 85, of Hutton, began the day with a service of thanksgiving for their marriage at St Mary’s Church in Church Lane.

Their great-grandchildren took part as bridesmaids and page boys with Anwen, aged eight, singing You Are My Sunshine and Wilfred, also aged eight, reading from Corinthians.

In the afternoon, they celebrated in the village hall where friends and family wished the couple the best of health for their future together.
