TWO people from Weston have appeared in court charged with inflicting serious injuries on a baby girl.
The 29-year-old woman and 22-year-old man appeared at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges on Tuesday.
Both faced two charges of assault, ill treatment and neglect of a child, causing unnecessary suffering, relating to two occasions in October last year.
Neither defendant can be named at this stage, for legal reasons.
The case has been committed to Bristol Crown Court for trial.
