WITH the weather cold, the days short and Christmas over, a one-day workshop is aiming to put a smile back on people's faces and help them beat the winter blues.

It is being run by Alliance Homes at the For All Healthy Living Centre in Lonsdale Road on Weston’s Bournville estate.

The free workshop will explore what makes people happy and will help them learn how to deal with setbacks and challenges.

Michelle Harper, member of the Bournville Area Team for Alliance Homes, said: “I think this course is really well-timed.

“Learning new skills and meeting other people are two of the recognised ways to wellbeing and we are happy to offer this free course to other people.”

The course will be held on Tuesday from 9am-3pm.

For more information about this course, and the skills for life course which will start at the end of January, call 03000 120120.
