The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between September 23-30:

● Ryan Andrews (25), of Uphill Way, Uphill. Possession of class C drug; Fined £250 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

● Daniel Box (20), of Longton Grove Road, Weston. Theft: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 50 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £191.99 compensation plus £85 costs. Six counts of fraud: No separate penalty.

● Ryan Love (27), of Bilbie Road, Worle. Theft: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs.

● Liam Wookey (18), of Locking Road, Weston. Threatening behaviour: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £300 costs.

● Wayne McDiarmid (48), of South Road, Weston. Threatening behaviour: Fined £75 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

● Mark Bailey (50), of Quantock Road, Weston. Assaulting a police officer: Sent to prison for 10 weeks. Two counts of failure to surrender: Sent to prison for four weeks (consecutive). Possession of class A drug: Sent to prison for four weeks (consecutive). Possession of class B drug: Sent to prison for four weeks (consecutive). Possession of class C drug: Sent to prison for four weeks (concurrent). Possession of a knife: Sent to prison for eight weeks (concurrent). Breach of suspended sentence: Sent to prison for 14 weeks (consecutive).

● Devon Feltham (18), of McFarlane Chase, Weston. Theft: Sent to prison for 16 weeks.

● Martin Nealon (46), of George Street, Weston. Assault: Three-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £300 compensation.

● Nicholas Hopkins (27), of Bristol Road Lower, Weston. 11 counts of fraud: Six-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £550 compensation.

● Andrew Batt (19), of Glebe Road, Weston. Theft: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £7 compensation. Criminal damage: Ordered to pay £110 compensation. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

● June Coombe (53), of Marconi Close, Weston. Theft: Two-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs.

● Luke Goldsmith (23), of Atlantic Road, Weston. Theft: Six-month community order with 12-week curfew, ordered to pay £150 costs. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty. Breach of conditional discharge: No separate penalty.
