The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges between June 13-17:

n Roger Dare (40), of Quantock Road, Weston. Possession of a knife: Six weeks in prison, suspended for nine months, four-month curfew.

n Daniel Donegan (30), of Turnpike Close, Churchill. Drink-driving: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and banned from driving for 24 months. Failure to stop at scene of accident: No separate penalty.

n Joanne Jemmett (39), of Canberra Crescent, Locking. Threatening behaviour: Six-month community order with requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £750 costs.

n Donald Palmer (40), of Canberra Crescent, Locking. Criminal damage: Six-month community order with requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £750 costs. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.

n Jamie Brooks (34), of Alfred Street, Weston. Theft: One-year community order.

n Russell Southgate (38), of Baildon Road, Weston. Theft: One day’s detention, fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 costs.
