A 46-YEAR-OLD Weston man who used text messages to threaten to kill a woman has been jailed for 20 months.

Raymond Danvers admitted two charges of harassment relating to text messages and letters he sent to a female victim.

Bristol Crown Court heard how Dancers warned the woman he would kill her in abuse he dished out last July.

He pleaded guilty to both charges, and was sentenced to 20 months for each crime, to run concurrently.
