A 37-year-old man will appear before magistrates this morning (Tuesday) to face a murder charge.
Weston man Martin Hill will appear before the bench at North Somerset Courthouse following the death of 26-year-old Paul Birch on Saturday.
Mr Birch was hurt outside his home in Alfred Street, Weston, on Tuesday, and died from his head injuries four days later.
Hill, also of Alfred Street, has yet to enter a plea to the charge, and has been denied bail since his arrest earlier this week.
