A ROGUE trader from Kewstoke has been convicted in court.

Plumber Wayne Kurlyo pleaded guilty to three charges under consumer protections regulations at Bristol Magistrates Court.

He was trading as Emergency Repair Services, of Woodspring House in Beach Road, Kewstoke.

The offences related to a case involving an elderly woman from Bristol paying Kurlyo £995 to carry out emergency plumbing.

The charges included a failure to clearly explain pricing policies.

He was fined £300 for each offence and was ordered to pay costs of £800 and £300 compensation.
