The KK Ranch of western enthusiasts has already donated funds to the town's RNLI and Burnham Area Rescue Boat (BARB) at a 'shindig' at Krackers Bar in Brean.
But now the group says it wants to raise more cash over the next six months.
Lifeboat spokesman Mike Lang said: "The group is a staunch supporter of both the RNLI and BARB and we welcome the pledge, as training and equipping our volunteer crews is expensive.
