AN 80-YEAR-OLD man from Burnham who died in a car crash on Sunday has been named.

AN 80-YEAR-OLD man from Burnham who died in a car crash on Sunday has been named.

Bryan Green was killed after a collision on Barton Road in Berrow involving a Land Rover Discovery and a Honda Civic.

It is thought Mr Green was driving the Honda when the clash occurred at 10.45am.

The road was closed for several hours and an ambulance took Mr Green to Weston General Hospital.

An air ambulance also hovered over the area but did not land.

A police spokesman said: "The cause of the crash is not yet known, which is why we are appealing for witnesses."
