A MAN who was involved with a cannabis-growing operation at a house in Weston has been jailed for 12 months.
Scott Shepard, of Knowle in Bristol, was arrested in January and pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of cannabis during a July hearing at Bristol Crown Court.
The charge related to a drug-growing factory where 40 plants were seized.
The 35-year-old also admitted threatening to destroy property in the town, when in a second incident he threatened to burn down a garage and kill the people inside.
The second charge landed him a four-month jail term, to run concurrently.
