A Weston-super-Mare man was charged yesterday (Friday) in connection with two assaults.
Paul Ashe, aged 46 of George Street, appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of greivous bodily harm and one count of possession of a knife.
A 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were assaulted at 4.20am on Sunday on Alexandra Parade.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries and the teenager was treated by paramedics at the scene.
A 49-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were also arrested in connection with the incident and were released under investigation.
