A dog owner from North Somerset has been prosecuted after her Staffordshire bull terrier attacked a five-month-old puppy.
Paula Kennedy, of the Churchill Inn in Winscombe, must make sure her dog Guinness is muzzled and on a lead at all times in public.
The order was made after the dog, which was being walked by a girl, attacked a cocker spaniel during a walk in Churchill on October 15.
Kennedy said she paid for the spaniel’s vet bill, but was given a dog order at North Somerset Courthouse on February 3 as Guinness had previously killed another dog and attacked two puppies.
She was also ordered to pay £936 in costs.
