The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between September 11-28:
Nathan Coley (29), of Blackthorn Gardens, Weston. Failure to stop after an accident: Sent to prison for six weeks. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty. Causing damage to a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent: 20 weeks in prison (consecutive) and banned from driving for 15 months.
Brian Munson (43), of Royal Crescent, Weston. Theft: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge.
Lee Barrett (35), of Longton Grove Road, Weston. Two counts of theft: 18-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £457 compensation plus £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 victim surcharge. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.
David John (32), of Taverners Close, Weston. Three counts of theft: 28 days in prison suspended for six months, ordered to pay £96.12 compensation plus £85 costs and £150 court charge.
Neil Simons (40), of Windwhistle Circus, Weston. Failure to obey police dispersal order: Fined £73 and ordered to pay £85 costs, £20 victim surcharge and £150 court charge. Threatening behaviour: Fined £37.
Nicholas Aldridge (47), of St Margarets Terrace, Weston. Assault: Two-year conditional discharge with restraining order, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge, £310 costs and £150 court charge.
Lesley Byron (53), of Rectory Way, Yatton. Assault: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £50 compensation, £15 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.
Shannon Burgess (20), of Downside Road, Weston. Theft: 12-month community order, with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £875.35 compensation plus £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge.
Sheila Glenville (75), of Uphill Road North, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £80. Failure to stop after an accident: Fined £240 and ordered to pay £24 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with eight penalty points. Failure to report an accident: Fined £240.
Thomas Phillips (26), of Locking Road, Weston. Criminal damage: Fined £73, ordered to pay £450 compensation plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Daniel Tottle (21), of Milton Brow, Weston. Racially-aggravated threatening behaviour: 12-month community order, five-year restraining order, and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge.
Kendall Francis (54), of Chaucer Road, Weston. Two counts of breach of restraining order: 12-month community order with two-year restraining order, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £160 court charge.
Alex Batt (30), of Mendip Road, Yatton. Two counts of assaulting a police officer: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.
Leon Critcher (27), of Sunnyside Road, Weston. Drink-driving: 16 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months, ordered to complete 100 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs, banned from driving for three years. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Failure to stop after an accident: No separate penalty. Failure to report an accident: No separate penalty. Causing damage to a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent: Ordered to pay £646.10 compensation and pay £180 court charge.
Joshua Witts (19), of Stonebridge Road, Weston. Theft after entering as a trespasser: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £180 compensation plus £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge.
Christopher Baldock (60), of Montpelier, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £950 and ordered to pay £120 victim surcharge and £625 costs, banned from driving for six months.
Luke Neilson (38), of Alma Street, Weston. Three counts of theft: Four weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £22.56 compensation and £150 court charge.
Jazamine Weare (19), of Mendip Rise, Locking. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm: Four-month community order with curfew, 12-month restraining order, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge.
Melvyn Rawles (54), of Claverham Park, Claverham. Threatening behaviour: Fined £180 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £620 costs.
Matthew Rother (36), of Stradling Avenue, Weston. Receiving stolen goods: 12-month community order, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 court charge. Two counts of theft: Ordered to pay £49.87 costs.
George Scott (50), of Knightstone Road, Weston. Two counts of assault: Two-year community order, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Kristian Fletcher (26), of Dunster Crescent, Weston. Theft: Fined £220 and ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge, £150 costs and £1,000 court charge.
Simom Kowalcyzk (34), of Hestercombe Close, Weston. Drink-driving: 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, fined £280 plus £300 compensation, £85 costs and £150 court charge, banned from driving for three years. Driving while disqualified: Ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty.
Matthew Sheppard (28), of Lonsdale Avenue, Weston. Four counts of theft: 12-month community order, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge.
Andrew Pitt (40), of Alma Street, Weston. Criminal damage: 12-month community order, with requirement to carry out 80 hours’ unpaid community work, and ordered to pay £1,000 compensation plus £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge. Resisting arrest: No separate penalty.
