The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between October 28 and November 6:

Gareth Barrett (33), of Wynter Close, Weston. Assault: Sent to prison for 12 weeks. Resisting a police officer: Four weeks in prison (concurrent). Breach of suspended sentence: Sent to prison for six weeks (consecutive).

Mark Phillips (29), of Bridge Road, Weston. Breach of restraining order: Fined £110 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Sharon Carson (65), of Ashcombe Park Road, Weston. Possessing a dog that was dangerously out of control: Fined £200 and ordered to pay £160 compensation, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Jordan Perry (24), of Oldmixon Road, Weston. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 275 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £3,000 compensation plus £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Michelle Osborne (47), of Roebuck Close, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £175 and ordered to pay £350 compensation, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with five penalty points.

Nicola Morss (43), of Pastures Avenue, St Georges. Threatening behaviour: Fined £110 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, two-year restraining order. Breach of conditional discharge: Fined £37.

Rhys Nichols (25), of Worle Moor Road, Weston. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm: Eight weeks in prison suspended for 24 months, ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid community work, and pay £300 compensation, £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge.

Malcolm Scott (37), of Constable Drive, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £200 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 14 months. Driving a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent: Fined £135. Driving without insurance: Fined £200. Driving without a licence: Fined £60.

Jamie Smith (28), of Walliscote Road, Weston. Assault: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Possession of class A drug: Fined £260.

Christopher Bright (23), of Sunnyside Road, Weston. Using violence to secure entry: 12-month community order with six-month curfew, ordered to carry out 75 hours’ unpaid community work, and ordered to pay £375 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Criminal damage: Ordered to pay £275 compensation. Assaulting a police officer: Ordered to pay £100 compensation. Possession of class B drug: No separate penalty.

Anthony Cockayne (28), of Bransby Way, Weston. Criminal damage: 12-month community order with six-month curfew and requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, plus ordered to pay £375 costs, £60 victim surcharge, and £275 compensation. Using violence to secure entry: No separate penalty. Theft: No separate penalty.

Natalie Cooke (40), of Queens Road, Weston. Criminal damage: Two-year conditional discharge, two-year restraining order, ordered to pay £330 compensation plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge. Assault: No separate penalty. Threatening behaviour: Ordered to pay £500 compensation.

Daniel Care-Slade (25), of Alfred Street, Weston. Trespass with intent to steal: Sent to prison for 10 weeks.

Jamie Stephenson (21), of Shrubbery Avenue, Weston. Threatening behaviour: Sent to prison for 76 days.
