The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between February 8-13:

* Wayne Morton (31), of Milton Brow, Weston. Criminal damage: 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to complete 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £100 compensation plus £80 victim surcharge.

* Roy Pearson (30), of George Street, Weston. Assault: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £500 costs.

* Michael O’Meara (59), of Thorn Close, Weston. Possession of class B drug: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

* Michele Wallis-Ellis (51), of Queens Road, Weston. Drink-driving: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* John Gibbs (25), of Milton Rise, Weston. Possession of class B drug with intent to supply: Four months in prison suspended for 12 months, three-month curfew, ordered to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work requirement and pay £85 costs. Possession of class B drug: One month in prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months. Offering to supply class B drug: Two months in prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months.

* Joseph McFadden (47), of Windwhistle Circus, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £165 plus £620 costs and £15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 40 months.

* Daniel Brotherton (23), of Milton Brow, Weston. Theft: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £21.75 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

* Karl Donnelly (44), of Queens Road, Weston. Theft: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Possession of class B drug: No separate penalty.

* David Gilpin (24), of Moorland Road, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £200 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

* James Hobbs (28), of Charter Road, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £55 plus £35 costs and £15 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with three penalty points.

* Lara Griffiths (41), of Riverside, Banwell. Threatening behaviour: 12-month conditional discharge. Theft: Four-week curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.
