A BURGLAR from Weston has been jailed for 18 months for stealing cash from a house he broke into.
Carl Tempest, aged 27, smashed a window to gain entry to the house back in June, and also tried to steal a car by breaking its window.
A judge at Bristol Crown Court sentenced him to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty to a single count of burglary – but he received an additional six months after admitting a charge of affray.
Tempest admitted causing a disturbance at his home in May, which saw him hurl items including a knife from his window.
