A MAN has appeared in court over drug charges following a major police raid on his home.
Son Ean Tran was arrested following the operation on February 8 when officers say they discovered nearly 300 cannabis plants in the Mendip Road property.
The 53-year-old appeared before magistrates at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges the following day charged with producing a quantity of the class B drug and dishonestly using electricity without authority.
No indication of plea was given and Tran was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Bristol Crown Court for plea on March 22.
