WESTON’S former mayor will be sentenced today (Thurs) after downloading indecent images and videos of children.
Philip Judd pleaded guilty to 12 charges at Bristol Crown Court when he appeared before a judge on June 5.
Of the dozen charges, 11 related to downloading indecent pictures of children.
Judd served both North Somerset Council and Weston Town Council for the North Worle area for several years until stepping down 13 months ago.
He was also Weston’s mayor in the 2010-11 year.
