The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between October 31 and November 7:

* Lee Butcher (41), of Meadow Street, Weston. Theft: One-year community order, ordered to pay �85 costs. Possession of class A drugs: No separate penalty.

* Robert Brean (20), of Shipham Lane, Winscombe. Threatening behaviour: One-year community order with three-month curfew, ordered to pay �50 compensation plus �85 costs. Assault: No separate penalty.

* David Nash (52), of Sandringham Road, Weston. Theft: One-year community order, ordered to pay �125 compensation.

* Sophie Harris (18), of Wrington Mead, Congresbury. Drink-driving: Fined �140 plus �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* Daniel Standeven (20), of Jesmond Road, St Georges. Driving while using a mobile phone: Fined �60 plus �35 costs and �15 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with three penalty points. Failure to obey red light: Fined �60. Driving without a seatbelt: Fined �60. Driving without MoT: No separate penalty. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.

* Christian Williams (23), of Dunedin Way, St Georges. Drink-driving: Fined �300 plus �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* Paul Elliss (50), of Wynter Close, Weston. Failure to provide a breath specimen: Six-month community order with three-month curfew, banned from driving for two years. Driving without an MoT: Ordered to pay �200 costs.

* Martin Richards (27), of Nutwell Square, Worle. Criminal damage: Fined �50 plus �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge.
