The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between January 11-18:

* Bino Scaria (39), of Kensington Road, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £400 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with five penalty points. Two counts of driving with insufficient tread on tyres: Fined £400.

* David Hill (68), of Chaucer Road, Weston. Three counts of theft: Fined £320 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

* Alistair Speller (20), of Clifton Road, Weston. Criminal damage: Fined £73, ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

* Arron Kelman (20), of Willow Close, St Georges. Failure to obey police dispersal order: Three-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs.

* Kassime Ben-Massaoud (20), of Pelican Close, Worle. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £400 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with six penalty points.

* Philip Johnson (51), of Atlantic Road South, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £110 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* Sion Stenner (48), of Windermere Avenue, Weston. Possession of class B drug: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

* Joao Borges (44), of Royal Crescent, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £220 plus £85 costs and £22 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 14 months. Driving without insurance: Fined £220.

* Ben Chivers (18), of Walliscote Road, Weston. Sent to a young offenders’ institution for 21 days.

* Cameron Duncan (19), of Main Road, Hutton. Theft: Six-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge.

* Billy Ballinger (18), of Moorland Road, Weston. Two counts of assault: Two-year community order, ordered to pay £170 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Criminal damage: No separate penalty.

* James Kelly (34), of Griffen Road, Weston. Two counts of theft: Sent to prison for nine weeks. Making off without payment: Sent to prison for four weeks (consecutive). Driving without insurance: Licence endorsed with six penalty points. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty.

* Christopher Stone (32), of Oxford Square, Locking. Two counts of assault: 12-month community order with restraining order and requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £150 compensation plus £775 costs.

* Daniel Levy (24), of Hill Road, Weston. Fraud: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 160 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £1,026 compensation plus £85 costs.
