The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between July 7-11:

* Luke Matthias (26), of The Crescent, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £375 plus £85 costs and £37 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 15 months.

* David Neville (51), of Clevedon Road, Weston. Threatening behaviour: Fined £37 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

* Gordon Jackson (68), of Trevelyan Road, Weston. Two counts of harassment: Six weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, 12-month restraining order, ordered to pay £170 costs and £80 victim surcharge. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.

* Bertrand Mathieu (46), of Locking Road, Weston. Resisting a police officer: Sent to prison for one week. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty. Breach of suspended sentence: Sent to prison for six weeks (consecutive).

* Joseph Adams (20), of Hill Road, Sandford. Possession of a class B drug: Fined £160 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

* Tara Morrissey (25), of Coleridge Road, Weston. Theft: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

* Radovan Soch (38), of Warrilow Close, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £110 plus £300 costs and £20 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* Andrew Pears (42), of Anson Road, Kewstoke. Failure to surrender: Fined £110 plus £175 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

* Jason Harris (38), of Alfred Street, Weston. Assault: Fined £240 plus £310 costs and £24 victim surcharge.

* Richard Adams (24), of Axe Close, Weston. Theft: Fined £73 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

* Gary Harford (36), of Ashcombe Road, Weston. Handling stolen goods: Three-month community order with curfew. Theft: Ordered to pay £180 compensation. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

* Steven McGarvie (30), of Amberey Road, Weston. Four counts of assault: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £400 compensation plus £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

* Huw Nixon (26), of Castle Road, Weston. Failure to provide a breath specimen: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 24 months.

* Philip Tidman (36), of Wick Road, Wick St Lawrence. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm: Two-year community order with requirement to carry out 150 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £250 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.
