The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between January 5-22:

Victoria Styles (23), of Walliscote Grove Road, Weston. Harassment: 18-week community order with curfew, two-year restraining order, ordered to pay £300 compensation plus £100 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Wasting police time: No separate penalty.

Ian Sparks (21), of Martindale Road, Weston. Possession of class B drug with intent to supply: Sent to prison for four months. Breach of suspended sentence: Sent to prison for three months (consecutive).

Stuart Marshall (21), of Holts Way, Weston. Possession of class B drug: Fined £73 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Two counts of assault: 12-month conditional discharge.

Ryan Owen (20), of Coleridge Road, Weston. Theft after entering as a trespasser: 21 days in a young offenders’ institution. Criminal damage: No separate penalty.

Wayne Morris (45), of Lower Bristol Road, Weston. Theft: 12-month community order with three-month curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Sally Small (38), of Westbury Crescent, Weston. Causing unnecessary suffering to an animal: Six-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £4,000 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Failure to provide animals with a suitable environment: No separate penalty. Failure to protect animals from suffering: No separate penalty.

Alan Walters (61), of Torrington Crescent, Weston. Criminal damage: Fined £255 and ordered to pay £500 compensation plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Simon Sharp (28), of Kipling Road, Weston. Possession of class B drug: One-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge.

Ashley Carpenter (21), of Langford Road, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £55 and ordered to pay £620 costs and £20 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Andrew Dredge (42), of Elm Grove, Locking. Theft: 12-month community order and ordered to carry out 80 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £1,419.61 compensation, plus £400 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Danielle Greenham (39), of Wadham Street, Weston. Assault: One-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

Matthew Brown (30), of Holms Road, Weston. Criminal damage: Nine-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £150 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
