The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between March 3-12:

Lee Molton (37), of Locking Road, Weston. Drink-driving: Fined £340 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £34 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 18 months.

Andrew Golledge (45), of Coleridge Road, Weston. Breach of restraining order: Sent to prison for 20 weeks, ordered to pay £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge. Possession of class B drug: Sent to prison for one week (consecutive).

David Nash (55), of Moor Lane, Hutton. Theft: Sent to prison for six weeks, ordered to pay £592 compensation, £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge. Theft: Sent to prison for eight weeks (consecutive), ordered to pay £85 costs.

Louis Balsham (36), of Torrington Crescent, Weston. Theft: 18-month community order, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Criminal damage: No separate penalty.

Benjamin Marshall (29), of Tolland, Monkton Avenue, Weston. Assault: 18-month community order, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge. Two counts of criminal damage: ordered to pay £60 compensation.

Lorna Dwyer (41), of North Road, Weston. Driving while unfit through drink or drugs: Fined £165 plus £620 costs and £20 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 16 months. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £55.

Philip Cason (33), of Orchard Close, Kewstoke. Two counts of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, leading to damage to the vehicle: 16 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months, ordered to complete 80 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £250 compensation and £80 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 12 months. Making off without payment: Ordered to pay £40 compensation. Drink-driving: Banned from driving for 48 months. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty.

Paul Brooks (46), of Dean Close, Weston. Theft: Sent to prison for 28 days, ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge.

Dean Jones (40), of Ashcombe Road, Weston. Possession of a class B drug: Fined £73 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Theft: Fined £25 and ordered to pay £73 compensation.

Darren O’Brien (22), of Williton Crescent, Weston. Criminal damage: 18-month community order, ordered to carry out 80 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Assault: Ordered to pay £85 costs.

Rory Blumfield (27), of Graham Road, Weston. Breach of restraining order: 18-month community order with 28-day curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Lee Godwin (33), of Milton Road, Weston. Assault: Two-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £620 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
