TWO men have been jailed after a Weston man was stabbed five times.
Robert Weatherman, aged 41, and Kieran Brooks, aged 18, and both of Alfred Street, both admitted to wounding Lou Walters with intent in January this year.
Weatherman was sentenced to 11 years with four years extended probation, while Brooks was sentenced to six years.
Mr Walters, aged 30, went to a property in Alfred Street at about 11pm on January 5 after hearing his partner had fallen ill.
He got into an argument with Weatherman, during which Weatherman produced a five-inch hunting knife.
He stabbed Mr Walters five times and Brooks kicked him in the head and hid the knife under Weatherman’s mattress.
The men were sentenced at Bristol Crown Court today (Fri).
