A WESTON man who inadvertently sold drugs to an under-cover police officer has been jailed for 13 months.
Dean Jones, aged 37, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court after pleading guilty to a charge of supplying a class
The plea relates to an incident in September 2011 when he handed over heroin to a plain clothes officer.
Jones also admitted a charge of being concerned in the supply of heroin, which related to an incident a month earlier when he arranged for someone else to sell class A drugs – again to an under-cover policeman.
Jones was ordered to spend 13 months behind bars for each offence, to run concurrently.
