A MAN has appeared in court charged with a robbery in Lympsham last week.
Jason Gollup, aged 36, was remanded in custody at the hearing at Sedgemoor Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
He is accused of robbing a man in a car park near Lympsham Post Office in Lympsham Road on January 31.
Gollup, of Ringstone in West Huntspill, has also been charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and five counts of theft – relating to incidents committed last month.
He will appear at Taunton Crown Court on February 18.
