cannabis: A man who was caught with cannabis in Weston told police he used it for medicinal purposes to cope after the deaths of his father and partner.

Harper pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and breaching a conditional discharge when he appeared at North Somerset Courthouse on Monday.
Ian Denley, defending, said cannabis was a ‘crutch’ for him following the two deaths last year.
Harper, of Belgrave Road, Torquay, was fined 65, ordered to pay 35 for breaching his conditional discharge and 85 in costs.
