Offenders pay back the community

OFFENDERS have been giving something back to the community as part of an ongoing scheme.

Community Payback has been running for six months in North Somerset and sees criminals doing unpaid work.

At the weekend they cleared up graffiti at the recreation ground, off Drove Road in Weston.

The scheme, supervised by the Probation Service, aims to enhance people’s surroundings and has had new investment from the Safer and Stronger Partnership, a group of key North Somerset organisations.
