Pair in court over ‘attempted murder’

TWO men accused of attempted murder will appear in court today (Thurs) after a Weston man was taken to hospital with stab wounds.

Kieran Brooks, aged 18, and 41-year-old Robert Weatherman are facing charges following the incident in Weston on January 5.

Injured Lou Walters, aged 29, was taken to Frenchay Hospital after police were called to Alfred Street at about 11pm.

Neither Brooks nor Weatherman, who both live in Alfred Street, have entered a plea yet and will appear at Bristol Crown Court this morning.
