Fourteen drug dealers from across Weston-super-Mare have been jailed for a combined total of more than 39 years, following a series of dawn raids in the town.
The dealers were jailed after a nine-month Avon and Somerset Constabulary investigation into the supply of class A drugs across Somerset, which culminated in multiple raids and warrants being executed in areas including Weston and Yatton in July.
The heaviest sentence was handed out to Kyle Pike, aged 20 and of Hopkins Street, who received six years and six months behind bars for four counts of supplying heroin and four counts of supplying cocaine – in addition to the possession of a firearm.
In total, the 14 sentenced dealers will spend 39 years and four months in prison.
