A busy pedestrian crossing in Burnham has this week had its safety markings restored after residents voiced their concerns.

The zebra crossing, in Berrow Road, had to be re-painted following a series of roadworks.

A spokesman for Somerset County Council said: “We had to wait a short time until loose chippings were removed before we could reinstate the markings.”
