A CROWD-FUNDING page has been set up to help a 13-year-old girl from Weston who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Neve Hiley was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the end of June.

She has since begun a three-year treatment plan which includes intense chemotherapy and means lots of her time will be spent at Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Her family have already raised more than £800 to buy her a wig, after she cut off her own hair to donate to the Princess Trust before losing it to the side effects of treatment.

Now an online donation page to buy Neve a wheelchair and iTunes vouchers to keep her entertained in hospital has been set up.

Neve’s mum, Gemma Zaire, said: “I can’t believe how far Neve has come already. She’s overcome so many fears and gets braver and braver by the day.”

To donate to the page click this link or follow Neve’s Journey on Facebook to find out more about Neve’s treatment.
