PADDLE steamer The Waverley is returning to Clevedon Pier to a programme of cruises.Swashbuckling pirates will be taking to the high seas on June 2 for a special pirates' day and trip to Nash Lighthouse and St Donat's Castle.On June 10 there is a chance to visit the classic transport festival at Barry in South Wales and in the evening there is a showboat sailing at 4.45pm.June 11 heralds the start of Ilfracombe Victorian Week where people can visit the seaside resort in Devon and take part in the celebrations along with locals dressed in period costume.There will also be a trip to Lundy Island on the same day when passengers can join the annual church service.The Waverley is owned by a charity and is registered for up to 100 passengers.Sister ship The Balmoral will begin its annual programme of sailings from Clevedon Pier on July 21.
