A HOSPICE has organised four cycle rides of varying distances in an effort to raise money.
There will be 10-mile, 25-mile, 50-mile and 75-mile cycle routes across Somerset to raise money for Weston Hospicecare on August 14.
The Strawberry Jam event 10-mile route takes in the Strawberry Line from Yatton Station to Cheddar.
The 25-mile route will begin in Yatton and end in Mark, with the 50-mile route taking place from Yatton to Banwell.
For those feeling especially fit, the 75-mile route will stretch as far as Nailsea and Clevedon.
The organiser of the event said: “This year we aim to help more patients than ever.
“The care is free to all our patients but as you would expect, it is costly.
“By joining in with the Strawberry Jam cycle ride we promise you a great day out while raising vital funds for Weston Hospicecare.”
The event is £5 for a child and £9 for adults. Entering as a family costs £22.
