A cyclist was taken to hospital last night (Tuesday) after a collision with a car in Worle.

The collision occurred at the junction of Milton Brow and Upper Bristol Road at about 7.15pm and Avon Fire and Rescue Service helped paramedics treat the injured cyclist.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “Fire crews provided emergency first aid to the cyclist, who was then treated by the ambulance service before being taken to hospital.

“Fire crews also worked to stabilise and make safe the car involved in the collision.”
