Cyclist taken to hospital after crash

AMBULANCE services and police were called out this morning (Mon) after crash between a car and a cyclist.

Both teams arrived at Locking Road in Weston, near Mead Vale, at about 8.10am.

The crash involved a silver Volvo and the male cyclist has been taken to Weston General Hospital after complaints of a hip injury.

A spokesman from the Great Western ambulance service said the driver was not injured and the cyclists’ injuries are not thought to be serious.
