Cyclist treated for back injury after collision in Weston-super-Mare

A cyclist has been knocked off her bike after a collision with a car by Weston-super-Mare’s Town Hall this afternoon (Friday).

Avon and Somerset Constabulary was called to Station Road at 1.34pm after receiving reports of a cyclist being ‘bumped’ from her bike.

Paramedics from South West Ambulance Service are treating the woman after she complained about back problems.

The police are currently in the area controlling the traffic while the paramedics tend to the woman.
