ONE of Weston's oldest landmarks is said to be suffering the worst vandalism it has had in 10 years.

Birnbeck Pier Regeneration Trust and Friends of the Old Pier Society member Charles McCann, says he has not seen anything like it at the site, off the seafront, in the past decade.

He said: "The windows on the Pier View building have been broken and even the handles on the doors have been pinched.

"The Pier Masters' Cottage had its door kicked in and only last month we had lead taken from the buildings' roofs.
