A KIND-hearted Churchill Community School pupil has organised a dance workshop with one of Kylie Minogue's dancers to raise money for charity.

Year 10 pupil Lucinda Hoy Green has arranged the workshops with dance maestro Tim Noble in the school’s dance studio for 2-6pm on June 18, and 9am-1pm and 1.30pm-5.30pm on June 19, costing £25 for each workshop.

The money will go towards cancer treatment on Ward 34 at Bristol Children’s Hospital, where two of Lucinda’s family members have been treated.

Her mum Pauline Hoy Green said: “She decided to do this event for charity because her nephew had cancer aged 18 months, her auntie died aged 39 of breast cancer and her uncle died as well of cancer, so her dancing has helped her through a traumatic time.”

Entry forms are available by calling 07971 020019.
