An extensive search for a missing 40-year-old man has entered its second week.

Dean Tate was last seen at 10pm on February 23 at the Somerset & Dorset pub in High Street, Burnham-on-Sea.

Since then a large-scale search operation has been launched involving both Avon and Somerset and Devon and Cornwall constabularies, and Avon Fire and Rescue. The coastguard and RNLI have been searching in Apex Park as well as nearby lakes, rivers and coastline.

People in Highbridge and Burnham have also been asked to look in garages and sheds while police have urged drivers in the area to review dashcam footage.

A Facebook page has been set up to help with the search.

Dean is 5ft 8ins with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and black Nike trainers.
