Almost a fifth of flights at Bristol Airport were delayed during the Christmas period during the past two years, according to a new study.
The research, which was carried out by travel website Kayak, found 11 per cent of flights arriving at the Lulsgate terminal were delayed by at least half an hour during the festive periods in 2014 and 2015, while some eight per cent of departing Bristol flights were also delayed. The total average time for delays exceeding 30 minutes at Bristol was 77 minutes.
