The David Cameron billboard has been in the bemusement park at the Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare for the entirety of its five-week run, looming over the exhibition’s film stage.

But its creators listed the piece – known as Shove – on online auction site eBay, asking for it to go to a ‘public home’ and it has since sold for £5,402.

It is not the first Dismaland item to go on sale on the auction website. People have already sold copies of the Weston Mercury, and leftover slice of dismal pizza.

Dismaland officially closed its doors on Sunday and is being dismantled before it is sent to a refugee camp near Calais.
