THE organisers of Banksy’s Dismaland art exhibition in Weston-super-Mare have warned against using touts to gain entry to the sought-after show – with tickets on eBay for more than £1,000 each.

A tweet from Dismaland’s PR firm stated people’s identification will be checked against the name and address printed on their online tickets, which are only available through Dismaland’s official website.

Memorabilia, tickets and even copies of the Mercury have begun appearing on eBay since the show was announced last Thursday, with prices rising soon after the first wave of online sales sold out in an hour yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

The next wave of tickets is due to go on sale tomorrow morning – but they are likely to be snapped up in minutes.
