Disruption caused after van overturned in North Somerset village

A van overturned early this morning (Friday), which left a village road blocked.

Police were called to Burrington Combe, in Burrington, at 7.40am to the accident, which involved just one vehicle.

A man in his 40s removed himself from the vehicle but the road remained blocked for a number of hours.

The police told the Mercury the man did not have any serious injuries and the road was unblocked by 10.15am.
