RED, white and blue was the order of the day as a GP practice went the extra mile to help some British heroes.

St Georges Medical Centre saw staff dress up in different colours as they raised cash ahead of the Keep Calm And Party On Concert, being held at Clevedon’s Hand Stadium in aid of Help The Heroes and Invisible Injuries.

The practice’s fundraiser, which also involved doctors in Worle, saw cakes sold too and Batman pop by on Friday afternoon.

The concert in Clevedon, featuring music by the Military Wives and Matt Cardle will take place on September 6. Tickets, priced £10-15, are available from www.keepcalmevents.co.uk/tickets
