Weston-super-Mare dog walkers pulled on their trainers and grabbed their furry friends to raise money for Weston’s RNLI.

People from the Facebook group The Bark Side Of Weston – which has almost 3,000 members – were out in full force on Saturday morning to raise money.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes enjoyed a walk along Weston’s seafront to Uphill sand dunes.

One of the event promoters Martin Slade said: “We had a great turnout for the RNLI fundraising dog walk.

“More than half of the people who joined in were from the Facebook group but we also had a lot from elsewhere.”
