Domestic abuse help course offered by group

A FREE course to help people respond to domestic abuse is being offered in Weston.

The half-day programme run by Safer and Stronger North Somerset Domestic Abuse Strategy Group is aimed at anyone who may come across someone living with domestic abuse.

More than 6,000 women experience domestic abuse every year in North Somerset and one in six men are also said to be affected.

The course runs from 9.30am-1pm and takes place in Asda Weston on Winterstoke Road on February 5 and March 19.
